This is a signed poster for The Who's performance of "Tommy" at the Universal Amphitheatre in Los Angeles on Thursday August 24th, 1989. This was a special performance of "Tommy" performed for charity during the course of the 1989 tour. The band played one performance in New York and one performance in Los Angeles. This poster is signed by the three members of The Who along with all of the special guests for these performances, Elton John, Billy Idol, Phil Collins, Steve Winwood and Patti Labelle. This is actually a very scarce poster even unsigned as only a few were produced for display at the Universal Amphitheatre. On August 13, 1989 The Who played in Boulder, Colorado at Folsom Field. This is a poster for the show. In 1995 Roger Daltrey took most of the band out to play the "Daltrey Sings Townshend" tour. This is a full size poster for the German leg of the tour. It looks like everyone was there except Pete. On April 30, 1996 Pete played at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco. This show was part of a small tour that Pete undertook by himself in 1996. He also played the House of Blues in LA on this stretch of the tour. On October 17, 1996 The Who took their "Quadrophenia" tour to the General Motors Plaza in Vancouver, Canada. This is a poster for the show.

This is a large size "poster" for the band's show at the MGM Grand Hotel on October 29, 1999. This is actually a giant sheet of Duratrans, a transparent plastic. These are made to be displayed in light boxes around the hotel. After the show these are typically destroyed, but this one was saved. This gig was a paid gig sponsored by a high flying but short lived tech company by the name of Pixelon. Along with The Who were The Dixie Chicks, Leann Rimes and Faith Hill.

These smaller size posters were produced by Texas artist "Uncle Charlie" for the House of Blues benefit show on November 12 & 13, 1999.
On November 12-13, 1999 The Who played two benefit shows at Chicago's House of Blues in order to benefit Maryville Academy. These are really nice posters on thick poster stock.
These two handbills are for The Who's performances at the Hollywood Bowl in LA and at Verizon Amphitheatre in Anaheim on August 14 and 16, 2000 respectively. These are printed on thin paper stock. On August 24, 2000 The Who played in Denver, Colorado at the Pepsi Center. This is a poster for the show.
On October 3,4,6 & 7, 2000 The Who played Madison Square Gardens in New York City. This is a poster for the show and the after show VIP Party.
On October 20th, 2001 The Who Played a star studded benefit concert for the victims and firefighters of the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center. This is a poster for the show.
This is the poster that was sold at the band's first show of the 2002 tour at the Hollywood Bowl on Monday July 1st. These posters are limited edition likenesses of the 1975 UK tour poster. They have machine print signatures of all 4 including Keith at the bottom. This one is numbered 518 of 2000.

The Who played another charity gig for their friends at Maryville Academy on Monday September 23, 2002. Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam brought out his band to help out as well.

This poster is for two of the four shows that The Who played at Madison Square Gardens on July 31st and August 1st, 2002.
This is the "Poster" displayed at the Hard Rock Hotel in the lobby next to The Joint where they played on September 14, 2002. This is actually printed on plastic in order to be backlit in the display case at the venue. (Collection of Hard Rock Hotel). Of the four shows I saw on this tour this was by far and away the "smokingest".
These two posters are from the 2002 tour. One is from the show at the Sheffield Arena on November 10th and the other is from the Birmingham NEC show on October 30th and November 8th.They were removed from the venues on the date of the concerts. Each poster is extremely large at approximately 59 X 38 inches and is printed on heavy poster stock. Although handbills from this tour are commonly available these are the only two large size posters I have seen.
