Home Japanese 45's

Japanese LP's and 45's are some of the most interesting pressings of all Who recordings. They usually come with completely different artwork form the U.S. and U.K. releases. In addition they are incredibly hard to come by. Pressings in most cases were a fraction of the U.S. and U.K. pressings.

The LP's usually come with a lyric sheet that translates the lyrics into Japanese. They also come with a strip of paper attached to the left hand side of the album cover known as an OBI. On the early releases, namely My Generation through Exciting the Who, the OBI is rarer than the LP. An LP with the original OBI intact can sell for 2-3 times the price of the LP alone.

The majority of the Japanese 45's have different picture sleeves than their U.S. and U.K. counterparts.
